As Meeting Expectations’ official music aficionado (ask him about his extensive music library and the old-school iPod that housed it), Derrick Brandon also excels in his duties as the Oracle Applications & Technology Users Group’s (OATUG) marketing specialist. Derrick manages an extensive communications strategy encompassing the OATUG’s social media pages, extensive email communications and membership campaigns for the organization.
His amiable personality and infectious passion for associations and their members is evident whenever you hold a conversation with him. He is strategic and thoughtful, putting member experience first.
Prior to Meeting Expectations, Derrick worked as the engagement and marketing intelligence coordinator for the American Society for Microbiology. In addition, he has worked with the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine, Heart Rhythm Society and American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
