About Karen
As VP of account management, Karen supports the meeting planning team by managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, Karen was the divisional VP of venues for PSAV (now Encore), and before that, Karen was the VP of conference management for Gaylord Entertainment.
Karen also serves as chair for the University of Central Florida Advisory Board for Tourism, Events, and Attractions. This board was instrumental in creating an Event Management Degree, receiving national accreditation, and being recognized as the first degree of its kind in the United States. Karen has also served on various committees in support of the meetings industry.
Karen earned her bachelor of science in business administration from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida.
