Lisa Burton, CMP
Senior Vice President
As Senior Vice President of the meeting management business unit, Lisa Burton, CMP, is responsible for the day-to-day operational management and strategic direction of the group, which is comprised of meeting planners, registration staff and site selection/contract management staff. Her focus is on client oversight, continuous improvement and growth of the department, while maintaining proper service levels.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Louisiana State University.
Lisa joined Meeting Expectations in 1996 and has extensive experience with clients world-wide and has worked with client events ranging from customer/franchisee conferences, seminar series, sales and analyst meetings to city-wide conventions. Her customer portfolio includes industries such as high-tech, franchise, salon/spa and agriculture.

- Lisa graduated from Louisiana State University, and she is a huge LSU sports fan.
- Lisa interned for a US Senator while in college and moved to D.C. after college to work in politics before she began planning conferences.
