Jamie Reed

Association Manager
Jamie Reed works as the membership coordinator for the Chicago Area Chapter of Meeting Planners International (MPI-CAC) and the Timberline Users Group (TUG). For MPI-CAC, Jamie is responsible for publishing the weekly newsletter, handling all membership inquires by phone and email, collecting dues, attending and helping with events and updating the website. 

For TUG, Jamie is the main point of contact for members and works to recruit new members, retain current members, update monthly membership reports and attend and help with the national conference. In 2016, Jamie transitioned to become the go-to team member for the Children's Literature Association (ChLA) managing the day-to-day operations. Jamie manages the membership, marketing, publications committees and has taken on more responsibility with conference planning.


Jamie is a graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a minor in English.


Prior to joining Meeting Expectations, Jamie’s role was manager of administrative services for the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
