Association Senior Manager
Sarah Martens, senior association manager with Meeting Expectations, works with clients including the Colorado SHRM State Council (COSHRM) and the Women’s Forum of Colorado (WFC). Sarah delivers excellent customer service, event and volunteer management, communications and coordinates with the board of directors.


Sarah is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology.


Prior to joining Meeting Expectations, Sarah occupied the associate director of alumni engagement position for the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business, where she engaged the schools 37,000+ alumni through events, communications and volunteer opportunities.

“I have volunteered since 2009 with an organization through Boulder County Housing and Human Services. I am essentially a ‘big sister’ to a young woman that was in the foster system and has since been adopted. I met her when she was nine and she just turned sixteen!”

  • Sarah was born on 8/8/80 and turned 8 on 8/8/88.
  • Sarah and her husband took a year-long trip around the world visiting 18+ countries across South America, Africa, the Indian subcontinent and South East Asia.
  • Sarah is a diehard Michigan Wolverines football fan and has been her entire life, as she is from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
