Meeting Expectations Named to the 2018 CMI 25

Riverbed hosts its annual sales kickoff meeting

MeetingsNet today named Meeting Expectations to its CMI 25 list, the meeting industry’s only comprehensive report of the 25 largest meeting and incentive travel companies in the U.S. corporate market. The directory of full-service meetings and incentive management companies, now in its 12th year, provides a resource for meeting managers, incentive travel executives and procurement professionals looking for experienced, professional outsourcing partners.

For the last 12 years, Meeting Expectations has earned a top spot on the MeetingsNet CMI 25. Meeting Expectations President and Founder Jalene Bermudez says, “being included in the listing is an exciting reward for our team members’ hard work. Our event planners and venue selection experts deliver engaging corporate meetings and inspiring incentive programs. They deserve their industry accolades.”

“Our focus is achieving our clients’ strategic goals, meeting the demands of their budgets, all the while sharing new ways to engage their audience that motivate and leave lasting impressions,” Bermudez says. “To be recognized in the industry for our team’s efforts and be identified amongst the most influential companies that make up the CMI 25, is an amazing honor. We don’t do it alone, we work hard to be a valued partner to our hotel companies, negotiate fairly, with honesty and the entire Meeting Expectations team, as a whole, deserves all the credit.”

The CMI 25 list will be published in the September 2018 issue of the MeetingsNet tablet magazine and digital edition (http://www.meetingsnet.com/digital-edition), and on their website. Company profiles include statics on business volume, top customer markets, recent company news, leadership and more.

The MeetingsNet editors selected CMI 25 companies based on several factors, including the number of meetings and incentive travel programs managed in 2017 and the total number of room nights represented by those meetings and incentives. They also considered the number of full-time employees at each company, as well as the percentage of the company’s 2017 revenues that came from organizing corporate meetings and incentives versus association meetings or other sources.

Meeting Expectations, named to the CMI 25 list each year since its inception, is a full-service meeting and association management company headquartered in Atlanta with offices in Chicago, Denver, Washington, DC and satellite offices throughout the country. Its event management team executes corporate events including customer summits, sales kickoffs, franchise conventions, educational conferences and incentive travel in global destinations. In 2017, the meetings produced by Meeting Expectations generated approximately 97,000 hotel room nights.
